As long as no one gets hurt, playing is the name of the game. We had no idea as kids that as soon as filming was over on The Enterprise, Spock would slip into a lovely warm bubble-bath with Kirk under the romantic magic star-light of Venus. Yes, its a surprise & also part of the Cosmic Dance which we must accept. I am sure Captain Kirk was relieved to let go of the controls for once, not focus on entering a black hole, & relax knowing Spock was at the helm.
